Cbank says seasonally adjusted inflation decelerates to 0.1% Jan
MOSCOW, Feb 21 (PRIME) -- Russia’s seasonally adjusted inflation decelerated to 0.1% in January due to declining food prices and a slower growth in prices for services, the central bank said in a research note on Wednesday.
“The process of inflation consolidation at low rates is becoming more stable… In January, it continued to decrease. Monthly inflation adjusted for seasonal factors decelerated from 0.2% to 0.1%, according to the central bank’s assessment,” it said.
Annual inflation stays below 4% and is decelerating in all eight Russia’s federal districts, the central bank also said.
